Speed stepped out of the car and looked up at King’s Cross Station. He remembered seeing the place for the first time when he was eleven years old. It was large and overwhelming for a child who was bewildered yet filled with anticipation. He took a deep breath and moved into the station, and despite the fact he hadn’t stepped foot into the place for over a decade, he knew instinctively where to go. Horatio was right behind him, watching his back. He could feel the eagerness of his lover to see home once again after so many years away. He glanced at the redhead and smiled. Horatio grabbed his hand and squeezed it, a rare show of public affection.
Harry shook his head. “Should we tell him now or just surprise him?”
Horatio looked over to Eric who was taking everything in. “Oh let’s just surprise. Besides I doubt he’ll believe us anyway.”
They stopped in front of Platform 9 3/4. Eric looked at the small group. “Why are we stopping?”
“I thought you read the books?” Calleigh teased.
“You mean…” He looked up to see the small sign on the column. “Can I step through?”
“Take my hand, honey.” Alexx held out her hand, Eric took it and the two disappeared through the barrier.
“Promise me you won’t kill him?” Horatio looked over at the young woman.
“Hell NO!” Calleigh yelled with her hands on her hips. “Bushy hair, buck teeth…. he’s a dead wizard when I get through with him. Ungrateful git,” she muttered as she stepped through the barrier.
“Draco is a dead man.” Speed shook his head. “Though I need to have a chat with him about the whole me marrying Ginny thing….”
Horatio watched as Speed… Harry stared at the wall. “I’m right behind you.”
“It’s just that, stepping through there means …” He looked back at his lover. “Facing my past.”
Horatio slipped his arms around him and pulled him close. “You’re never alone.”
“I never thanked you.” Speed turned and looked up at him. “For saving me.”
He leaned down and kissed him softly. “You saved us all, and was willing to let that be your legacy.”
“H…”
Horatio smirked. “And as you know, us Malfoys are bastards and selfish and I wanted you all to myself….”
Harry shook his head and turned back towards the gateway. “I would believe that, except for the fact our other lover is on the other side of the barrier…”
“Damn.” Horatio Malfoy gave him a saucy grin and grabbed his hand. “Let’s go before Calleigh kills Draco.”
“Not much of an incentive…” he muttered as they stepped through the barrier onto the train platform.
Horatio let go of Harry’s hand and stepped into the embrace of his brother. “Lucius.”
“Well it’s about time you got home, brother.” Lucius Malfoy hugged him tight then stepped back to fix his clothes. “And we have to work on that accent it’s atrocious as well as…” He paused eyeing Horatio’s suite. “At least you kept the Malfoy fashion sense, even if it’s Muggle.”
“Wait…” Eric turned back and looked at them shock written on his face. “Horatio is a Malfoy?”
“Yes,” Speed answered snickering, he slipped his arms around his lover. “Lucius and him are brothers.”
“But a MALFOY!” Eric repeated; it was just a concept his mind wasn’t accepting.
“The books aren’t accurate remember, matter of fact Draco wrote them. Hence Calleigh screaming at him at the moment.” Harry grinned, looking over at the blonde being screamed at by Hermione. “Admittedly Malfoys can be assholes; they aren’t pure evil, just slightly evil.”
“Hey!” All three responded.
“But… wait…” Eric blinked looking between them. “That means Horatio is British!”
Speed snickered and kissed him softly. “Yes. As I am.”
“But…” He frowned, stepping out of Speed’s arms and flailed his arms around. “Technically I’m the only American…. I need a drink.” He walked off towards the train.
“I think you fried his poor little mind.” Lucius shook his head laughing lightly. “Mr. Potter, it is good to see you healthy.”
Speed rolled his eyes. “Lucius.”
“You have to be nice to me now,” Draco smirked at him as he walked up to them. “You’re dating my uncle.”
“Sod off.” Harry shook his head, a grin on his face. “God you’re even more annoying now…” he paused. “I actually missed that.”
Draco laughed and pulled the brunette into a hug. “Missed you too, Potter.”
Eric suddenly reappeared back next to them. “I’ve got more questions.”
“Not surprised,” Draco sighed drastically. He looked at Harry. “Does he know about Colin Creevy?”
“Oh no…” The Muggle paused. “Ryan, never mind that actually fits. Is there anyone we’re working with that wasn’t a ‘Harry Potter’ wizard in hiding?”
“I can’t believe you actually put that in quotes,” Calleigh laughed lightly. “And I’m not done with you, Mister Malfoy!”
“Are we still going over this?” Draco stepped back, hiding behind Harry.
“Hello! Buck teeth! You made me into a know it all twit!” The platform got still and quiet. “Bugger off!” she yelled and stalked off towards the train.
“Wow, she is Hermione.” Eric looked at her in awe. “Tell me the whole polyjuice thing and the cat.”
Draco smirked. “Oh yeah that happened.” A loud thunk echoed along the platform. “OW! Potter!” He grabbed the book from the wizard and glared at him.
“I’m going to forgive the whole glasses thing, I’m going to forgive the whole stumbling moronic teenage angst thing.” Harry glared at him. “And I can understand not mentioning the whole me doing Ron in every corner of the castle… but GINNY! You had me MARRY GINNY!”
“The publishers demanded it.” Draco shrugged. “The whole poor orphan boy who married the ONLY daughter of the family of his best friend.”
Harry glared at him.
“I couldn’t quite say that you ran off into the Muggle world with my uncle and he had his wicked way with you,” Draco added dryly. “Though really its only fitting that a Malfoy got the …” The blonde paused. “You’re going to hit me again aren’t you?”
“Yes.” Speed slapped him upside the back of the head. “Ow; what hair gel do you use, cement?”
“Well you might want to try some grooming, Potter. I mean the whole I just rolled out of bed look is just so passé,” he snarked back. “And while we’re at it, would it kill you to wear tailored clothing, and shave?”
“I did shave!” Harry shouted then laughed. “Ahh I missed the snark.”
“Speaking of snark,” Draco smiled, “You didn’t hear it from me, but Snape missed you.”
“Like a hole in the head,” a low voice entered the scene. “As usual, Mr. Potter, you seemed to have attracted attention just by your mere existence, so if you don’t mind collecting your bodyguards, we would like to head back to Hogwarts.” He turned and swept off towards the train.
“Oh God he hasn’t changed a bit.” Speed stared in awe at the billowing black robes moving down the platform. “He is a vampire.”
“And we still can’t prove it.” He smirked.
“How did he take it, you killing him off?” Horatio asked, stepping up to the two of them.
“My son had to go into hiding. Severus didn’t mind dying part; though dying by the snake just set him off.” Lucius flipped his hair back. “But he is right; we need to get on board the train. There is a lot we need to discuss, including the sudden interest in resurrecting the Death Eaters.”
“You just wanted to write a sequel, didn’t you?” Speed smirked at Draco.
“Oh yes, instead of the boy who lived it will be the man who just wouldn’t die no matter how many times they tried and its getting blood annoying.”
“I seriously hate you.”
“Feeling’s mutual.”
They both laughed and walked towards the train. Eric looked over at Horatio. “You know this just ruins my whole image/perception of all things Harry Potter.”
“What, finding out you were fucking the boy who lived didn’t?” Lucius eyed the Muggle.
Eric just glared at him. “Fucking Harry Potter is one thing. Finding out Malfoy’s aren’t spawns of the devil is just mind boggling.”
“Touché.” Lucius looked at his brother. “He’s not bad…for a Muggle.”
Hogwarts Express
Alexx smoothed the dark hair from his forehead, leaning over and giving him a kiss before sitting back in her seat. “It’s good to see him resting.”
“He always could sleep on the train.” Calleigh smiled at him. “I can’t believe we’re going back. I was ready never to see Hogwarts again.”
“We all were.” Alexx looked out the window. “Though I admit there were times I wouldn’t have minded coming home.”
“Alexx,” Eric asked. “Is Peter a wizard?”
“No, he’s a Muggle.” She sighed. “When we got together, I had to sit and explain to him everything; of course this was before the books came out. He at first was ready to check me into the nearest hospital, but after I showed him a few things, he was a believer.”
“Your kids?” He asked.
“Will be going to Hogwarts once they’re old enough.” She shook her head. “They know the books are real, but not how accurate. They never suspected their ‘older’ brother was actually the boy who lived.”
“What about his scar?” Eric looked over at their sleeping lover.
“Disappeared after Voldemort was defeated,” Horatio answered him.
“Malfoy…” He shook his head.
H laughed. “I’m the black sheep of the family.”
“Don’t you mean, red?” Calleigh grinned. “He was also our Dark Arts Professor all seven years, taught Speed everything he knew.”
“Not everything, Harry is a gifted wizard, powerful.” Horatio ran a hand through the dark locks. “It’s lucky for us he has a good heart and soul. There is a reason Voldemort wanted him dead, and a reason the Wizarding world wanted him controlled.”
Eric looked down at his lover. “It’s hard to imagine.”
“It is.” Hermione smiled. “I’ve seen it once, and God help us if we see it again.”
“When Ron died?” he asked.
She nodded. “They took him to get to Harry. It was found out later, Voldemort really had no intention of killing him; he was evil and mad but not stupid.”
“He knew it would just set Harry off,” Alexx continued. “But someone inside Voldemort’s inner circle who had their own agenda gave Ron the killing blow. The whole castle shuddered from the screamed pain that came from Harry.”
Eric laid his hand on his lover’s leg, needing reassurance he was there. “He truly loved him.”
“He loves both of you, don’t forget that.” Alexx smiled at him. “And remember, Eric, here you are a Muggle…”
He nodded. “I get it. I’ll stay out of trouble.”
“God, how many times did we hear that line?” Horatio shook his head. “The castle is doomed.”
He glared at his older lover. “You, Mister, have a lot of explaining to do.”
The redhead looked over at Eric. “We’ll explain a lot more once we get to Hogwarts. The main concern right now is the fact someone wants Speed back in the Wizarding world. It’s just not the Death Eaters we have to deal with, but also the Ministry. They are going to be all over this.”
“Damn blood suckers,” Calleigh growled. “At least we can keep him at Hogwarts, he’ll be mobbed if we got to Diagon Alley.”
Eric whimpered slightly then coughed and blushed. “You do realize I’m living like every kids dream right.”
Speed lifted his head up from Horatio’s lap, sitting up suddenly. He stood up and looked out the window, just as the train lurched to a sudden stop. Harry stepped back from the window as ice began to form spreading out from the center of the glass. He pulled his wand then frowned. “H?”
“Yours is at Hogwarts,” he said pulling his own. “You can use this one, but it won’t be as powerful.”
“Not going to help against Dementors,” he growled as the long fingers slid across the glass. Harry focused on the last years of his life, warm nights on the beach, loving Horatio and Eric. He shivered as the darkness descended on him, the sounds of battle, death, Ron’s scream as he was tortured filtered into his mind. Suddenly the world was bright once again and the train was moving. He looked up at Alexx, who handed him some chocolate.
“I hate those things,” Speed moaned, his head resting back on the Eric’s lap. “And why don’t I have my wand?”
“Because the moment you touched it you would have remembered.” Horatio helped him up off the ground. “You have a powerful bond with it, even the destruction of Voldemort didn’t break that.”
Harry nodded and sat down on the bench, Eric sitting next to him looking worried. “I’m fine.”
“You fainted. I’ve known you for years never seen you take a nose dive.” He pulled Speed close to him. “So those were Dementors?”
“Nasty buggers.” He nibbled on the chocolate. “Though it wasn’t nearly as bad as it was when I was a kid.”
“You’ve made a lot of good memories.” Horatio smiled at him. “Though you still have a lot of dark memories for them to feed on.”
“Are we almost there?” he asked diverting attention away from the situation. “I really can’t wait to see the castle again.”
“We should be pulling up to Hogsmeade soon.” Alexx smiled at him.
He frowned as he looked out the window. “It won’t be the same. Every year it would be the three of us, and I was always greeted by Hagrid.”
Eric slid an arm around him and pulled him close. “Did you actually fly the car your second year?”
Speed groaned. “Yes. Man I truly thought Mrs. Weasley was going to kill us. After that no one would teach me to drive. I wasn’t the one driving; it was Ron.”
“Obviously you learned.” Eric smirked. “What poor sap got stuck with that task?”
“I learned afterwards.” He looked over at Calleigh. “I never got a chance until after the war. And the moment I laid eyes on the Ducati…” He sighed happily.
Horatio grumbled; he truly hated that machine. “Scares the shit out of me when you fly down the streets. Of course watching you play Quidditch scared the shit out of me also.”
“You so have to take me up on a broom.” Eric grinned.
Speed nuzzled his neck and whispered into his ear, “Remember how hot it was you on my bike…” Eric shivered in anticipation. “Flying is like that but more intense.” He moaned.
“Leave the poor boy alone,” Alexx scolded, fanning herself.
Harry sat back in his seat with a impish grin. “Problem, Poppy?”
“You, Mr. Potter, are evil.” She laughed lightly.
Hogsmeade
“So is it true?” Eric looked over at the creatures pulling the small carriages.
“Yes.” Harry walked up and ran a hand along the neck of one of the thestrals. “Only those who have been touched by death can see them.”
“So that’s pretty much anyone here.” Horatio answered as he pulled Eric into one of the carriages.
Speed was pulled into another one by Calleigh and Alexx. “We’re past the stage of hurt him I’ll kill you.”
The redhead smirked and leaned back in the carriage. “There are things you need to know that I don’t want to say in front of Harry.”
“It will upset him?” he asked.
“Yes.” The answer was simple and straightforward. “Draco did a good job disguising the horror that the war was. He also had to make it a children’s book so the good guys are really good and the bad guys are really bad.”
“Hence the Malfoys aren’t evil bastards.” Eric smiled.
“Yes, but that also means good guys weren’t necessarily good.” Horatio closed his eyes. “Sirius is an asshole. Now don’t get me wrong; he loves Harry, he truly does. But he’s still an asshole.”
“He’s alive?”
“Draco must have loved killing him off, all the stuff about the conflict between Sirius and Snape, very accurate,” Horatio continued. “But there was more. He truly did want to help Harry and take him away from the Dursleys… but it wasn’t out of the goodness of his own heart. The Black family lost a lot of money, especially when part of the family sided with Voldemort the first time around. The Potter name and family was clean. Wasn’t tarnished and as guardian, he would have access to the accounts.”
“So he was a money hungry asshole.” Eric frowned. “And here I liked him in the books. He was supposed to save Harry from the evil Dursleys… speaking of.”
“Dead.” Horatio eye’s narrowed his voice in a low growl. “Draco was kind in his description. He knew Speed would not want people to know how bad it really was.”
“Did he ever escape them? I mean before you obviously tortured them,” Eric asked with an evil smirk on his face. “And I want details later on what exactly you did. I mean I’ve met Horatio Caine; I’m curious about Horatio Malfoy.”
“Sixth year, Remus and I got him into Hogwarts for good.” Horatio smirked. “Lucius in his clever Death Eater ways ‘destroyed’ Potter’s family in retribution. Voldemort laughed and had thought it would destroy Potter, losing his only family. I remember Snape smirking later; of course he’ll deny it completely, that the truly evil smirk on Harry’s face was priceless when he had heard about their demise.”
“So I’m getting the Malfoys worked for the good side, all spies like Snape. Wait you were Dark Arts professor?”
“I was ‘disowned’ from the family, by siding with the light. I was Lucius and Snape’s main contact during the whole nightmare. Remus taught with me, and we made it our goal to keep Harry safe,” Horatio explained. “Unfortunately we did lose Remus in the war, along with his wife Tonks.”
“Sirius wants to help Harry to help himself. What about McGonagall and Dumbledore?” Eric asked.
“Albus had his own agenda, still does,” the redhead answered. “Minerva is someone you don’t cross; both her and Snape are running Hogwarts.”
“And how does the whole Weasley family fit into this?” Eric asked concerned. “I mean I understand Harry and Ron were lovers and it was Ron’s death that basically set Harry off to finish the war. But why is he so upset over him marrying Ginny in the books. Did he not get along with the rest of the family?”
Horatio looked out the window, a small smile on his face as Hogwarts came into view. “Molly loves Harry as if he was her own son. She adored the fact Ron and him were together, and his death devastated her. When she almost lost Harry too, she was the one that came up with the idea to get Harry out of the Wizarding world. She knew that they wouldn’t stop, and she couldn’t bear losing another child. She had lost George and Ron.”
“Does she know Harry’s back?”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she was waiting for him at the front steps.” He watched as the castle got closer. “As for Ginny. Relationships are strained with her.”
“What? Why?”
“She wanted Harry. Didn’t like the fact Harry was with Ron. It was never proven, but most, including members of the Weasley family felt Ginny may have had something to do with Ron’s disappearance. He was going to meet her when he was taken.”
“That doesn’t prove guilt as we well know,” Eric pointed out.
“No, and under Veritaserum she wasn’t lying when she didn’t know what was going on.” Horatio looked over at him. “But even if she didn’t have a hand in it, the fact she tried to seduce Harry not even a day after Ron disappeared…”
“Slut.”
“That’s what Hermione yelled in the Great Hall, after she slapped her across the face, three seconds before half of Gryffindor cursed her.” He smiled.
Eric sighed and leaned back as the carriage pulled up to the front doors. “I’m going in there blind to the who, what and where’s.”
“Look at it as a case, and follow the evidence.” Horatio opened the door and stepped out. He glanced over to see Speed glaring at him. He smiled and gave a head tilt towards the front doors, giving his lover a warning before he was tackled by Molly Weasley.
Speed barely kept his feet as he held onto a sobbing Mrs. Weasley. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. “You’re home.”
“I’m home.”
Great Hall
Horatio walked into the Great Hall, feeling slightly uncomfortable in robes, having not worn them in over a decade. He sat down next to his brother and nephew. Snape soon joined them along with Arthur and Charlie Weasley. Charlie leaned over and gave Draco a kiss on the temple before taking a seat next to him. Horatio looked over at Lucius.
“Don’t point it out.”
“I missed that piece of news.” Horatio smiled over at Draco and Charlie. “I mean, Charlie, I know you study Dragons but isn’t this taking it too far?”
Draco glared at him. “This is coming from the man who has two lovers. One of them Harry Fucking Potter.”
“Can we get on with why we’re secretly meeting in the middle of the Great Hall at midnight,” Snape sneered.
“It’s not midnight and we’re not sneaking,” Arthur pointed out.
“Let’s just get down to why we’re here. Harry Potter.” Lucius looked over the small group. “And his sudden reappearance in the Wizarding world.”
“Someone wants him back here, that much is obvious,” Draco said. “And despite the fact we kept it quiet it’s all over the papers.”
“We’re going to get Ministry here by morning,” Horatio sighed.
“Don’t forget the mutt,” Severus said. “He’ll be practically salivating over Harry by morning.”
“Does the Muggle understand the situation?” Lucius asked.
“Yes, Eric knows he’s not to let anyone but those he’s met near Speed,” Horatio said. “Black really isn’t our main concern. He will try to get some cash, but he won’t hurt Harry.”
“The real threat is the Minister,” Arthur growled slightly. “They will want Harry ‘contained’; he’s too powerful.”
“What about these pseudo Death Eaters?” Horatio asked.
“We’re not sure who’s leading them, but it’s someone powerful enough to re-establish the link with the mark.” Severus pulled up his sleeve. “Though I’m not feeling a pull or a call, I can feel it’s active.”
Horatio looked at Draco and Lucius. “What about you two?”
“It’s active, no harm but someone basically opened the link, and I’m guessing whoever decided to rejoin has the link completely re-established.” Draco showed his own mark.
“A blood oath most likely,” Lucius added. “He’s not contacted those I know who were working for the Order. It’s as if he knows who was working for Voldemort truly and those who were spies. I contacted Lestrange; very few know she was working for the Order, most know her as the insane bitch who adored Riddle… and she wasn’t contacted.”
“That in itself tells us the person who’s taken over was deep on the side of the Order.” Arthur took a calm deep breath. “One who knows the moment Harry was exposed would come home.”
“Knew where Harry was hiding,” Charlie pointed out. “You can’t tell me finding you guys in Miami was a fluke.”
“There’re not many who fit that description.” Draco looked at all of them. “One actually.”
“Damn him,” Snape growled.
Harry’s Room
“So where did Horatio go exactly?” Eric asked as he explored the room.
“To have a super secret meeting with his co-horts in crime,” Speed responded as he sat at the window, looking out. Eric just looked over at him. “He’s talking with Lucius, Severus, Arthur and Draco about who’s behind dragging my sorry ass back into the Wizarding world. Oh and figure out how to keep the Ministry from throwing my ass into Azkaban and keep my godfather’s fingers off my fortune.”
“And they think they are doing this without your knowledge?” Eric laughed as he took a seat next to his lover.
“I let them think I don’t know; it makes them feel all Slytherin.” He smirked.
“So Horatio is a Slytherin?”
Speed snorted, “Have you met Horatio?”
“Well Lucius and Draco….” Eric crossed his arms and looked at Speed. “Fine.”
“He’s a Gryffindor; I swear every Malfoy must have turned in their grave when that announcement came out.” Harry chuckled. “But he’s got Slytherin in him; he’s a sneaky bastard.”
“But then so are you.”
“True.” Eric shook his head at the truly evil chuckle that came from Speed’s mouth.
“So you know more than you’re letting on,” he asked.
“Of course. I know exactly who’s behind this little escapade.” Speed got up from his seat and moved towards the bedroom. “And I guarantee it goes deeper than we think, probably all the way into the Ministry. I wasn’t supposed to live through the war, but I did which threw off their plans in the first place.”
“Plans?” Eric followed him into the bedroom.
“What does any criminal master mind want?” Harry asked as he climbed onto the bed.
“Power.”
“And how do you get said power when you have two powerful wizards battling it out in the ultimate war of good and evil?”
“Making sure they both die.” Eric shook his head. “You just had to screw with their plans, didn’t you?”
“I screwed with their plans the moment I survived the Killing Curse when I was a year old.” He looked over at his lover. “Are you coming to bed?”
Eric stripped off his shirt and climbed into the bed. “It’s pretty big.”
“I know, lots of room.” Harry smiled and pulled him down for a deep kiss. “I’m glad you’re here.”
“I wouldn’t be any other place.” Eric leaned down and took Speed’s lips into a deep kiss, his hands sliding down the lean body.
“Starting without me?”
“You were plotting evil doings.” Harry looked over at their older lover. “We got bored.” It didn’t take long for Horatio to strip out of his clothes and join his lovers. They spent the rest of the night loving each other, affirming their bonds, and reaching the peaks of pleasure.

Minerva looked up from her desk as she felt the castle shift and settle contently. She smiled softly. “I know. He’s home.”
