If you’re wondering what this image is.

It’s the cover to my book.

Yes, I actually did it.  I took the leap into Published Fiction.

I will say it hasn’t been easy.  There’s been a lot of blood, sweat and tears.  There’s been frustrations and joy.  But in the end from the support of those who love me and God’s Blessed Grace … here it is:

Conversations in Real Time by Nicholas J. Finch (I’m pretty sure y’all can figure out where the penname came from)

Beginning with a series of emails sent back and forth between the UK and the USA, this novella is the story of how two men, one a Los Angeles detective and the other an Oxford research student, find themselves drawn to each other despite leading very different lives on opposite sides of the world.

Their relationship starts with a professional offer of assistance and through instant messaging, texting and phone calls they invade each others’ lonely and yet busy days, learning about themselves and slowly falling in love as they discover they both need something from the other until they finally get a meeting face to face and can get up close and personal.

There are over 600 of you that follow this blog, and I know there are much more of you that follow Sylum.   I’m pretty sure y’all came here because you enjoyed the story, the universe that was created.  I’m hoping you will now follow me into this new world and help support me in this endeavor.   There isn’t a lot of Gay Fiction in the real world, so help me get this book out there.  Get it seen.  Spread the love.

To keep updated on what my next project will be follow the tumblr for Nicholas J. Finch

Now don’t panic.  This doesn’t mean I’ve stopped working on Sylum or other projects *pointedly looks at Dragon Reese*.  I’m not giving up on my Vampires – it’s Sylum that got me writing and has led me down this long adventurous path.  Nico’s story is far from finished.  I’ll keep writing Sylum until I die, and even past that, knowing Bob and his ability to get what he wants.
