Boxing Day Results

So the results are in!

And this year’s winner is Tony!

Two things you get this day.

A small snippet!  And a surprise after the snippet.

Jethro held his hand out, smiling when Horatio put down a hundred dollar bill into it.  “I know they are both damn good warriors … ” he started.

“Everyone kinda forgets that Tony can do damage.  Especially with him playing DiNozzo still and those fancy suits of his.  Face it, Speed just looks like he can fuck someone up.”  Jethro put the money into his wallet, maybe he’ll treat his Mate to dinner.  “Though these past few years the two have teamed up a few times taking out others.  It’s been a while since we seen them go at it.”

“Their skills has improved.”  Horatio was contemplating dragging his Mate to their cave shower and check for any injuries.   But he knew that Speed would go on his hunt for a Wren, before the came back to their rooms.   It was an old tradition, that both father and son cherished.

At the moment the two were laid out on the grass laughing about something.   It had been a viscous fight, neither giving quarter.  It had been a slight of hand that gave Tony the final blow that knocked Speed to the ground.   Nico had just shook his head, smiling at his two kids.   Warrick looked to be making a fortune, but then this was his biggest bet of the year.

“Maybe one day we should join in.”  Jethro glanced over at the redhead.

“You would kick my ass in five minutes.”  Horatio snorted not even contemplating the idea.  “I’m good with explosions.”

“Always handy when trying to get into places we aren’t welcome.”

That got both of them to laugh.

“Speed’s going to be plotting for the next year.”  Horatio knew his Mate would put a bit more effort into training.

“Well Tony has been helping mom and dad with their adventures that we don’t talk about.”  The former Marine sipped his drink.  “Speed’s been using his wolf nature to do a lot of his patroling.”

“Not a bad skill but not helpful in the yearly dog fight.”  He laughed at his own joke.

“I’m going to go grab my Mate get him in a hot bath.  Then curl up on the couch with too many pillows and some snuggly doxens.”  Jethro finished his drink gave Horatio a wink, thens stalked off to grab his Mate.

Horatio gave his a nod, as he watched his Mate wandered off to find his wren.

And now for the surprise.  The first Boxing Day Match!
