Yep and in vintage jars from my great grandmother, grandmother & mother.
I have a large Ziploc bag in my sewing box with buttons collected over the past 20 years! I just can’t get rid of them. When I need a button it takes me a few hours to find the right one. I end up looking through the bag like I’m looking at jewels.
I’m going to start collecting them again. I gave mine to my oldest daughter when she got interested in sewing. I bought myself a new sewing machine last year and still haven’t used it. I do have some mending to do though.
