As we head into fall … what is your favorite ‘Fall Event’?

I like taking my dog to the off-the-leash park in the fall; in the summer, because I live 25 minutes away, I don’t like to subject him to the car ride, but in the fall when it gets cool we go every Saturday morning. We hit a drive-through for late breakfast, go to his favorite pet store – the one where he’s never had his nails trimmed, which he hates – and then go to the park. There’s a regular Saturday morning crowd and we all sit around in folding camp chairs and talk while our dogs run around.
Walking him during the autumn is fun too, especially once the leaves start falling; he’s a German Shorthaired Pointer mix, and he points leaves when he sees them falling.
I love the cool nights and beautiful days. I could skip winter for Indian Summer til spring. Also enjoying the fall premiers on TV. This is the first time in 3 years I’ve been able to watch. This week has been fun.
