Love it!!! Favorite musical – The Lion King. The costumes were amazing! Also Arsenic & Old Lace – along with Christmas Carol.
Lion King was awesome – got to see it when it hit LA!
I love theatre – musical and otherwise. When I lived in New York I went to a lot of shows, and I watch things on YouTube all the time.
I don’t have a favorite exactly, but the first one I ever saw was Phantom, so it has a very special place.
One of my favorite was Civil War the Musical – not two words you would put together normally. But it was beautifully crafted and ripped your heart out by the end.
I prefer Plays over Musicals. And, I’m not overly fond of this live musicals on tv with commercials that have been happening the last few years.

Oh, and one of my trips to Cali I saw Chris Pine in The Lieutenant of Inishmore. (Don’t sit in first couple of rows).
I admit Musical’s not my favorite (despite previous comment on Civil War the Musical) … it’s still not my preferred entertainment.
A lot of the musicals I’ve seen are due to Humanities classes over the years.
1776 is a little more “play” than “musical”. And Sunday in the Park with George is based off my favorite painting.
