I have lived with black cats almost my whole life. Either there is no relation to bad luck for me, I’m inoculated, or I’ve been living with bad luck for so long that I don’t recognize it. I stay away from ladders for safety reasons and I roll my eyes at the broken mirrors. They just need to be replaced if I can. I do believe in not saying the “Q word” in a hospital and closing an open bed on the Med Surg floor means that we will have admissions.
I have always been afraid of heights so I have never been on a ladder and have lived with black cats. I am not superstitious just cautious and believe in safety first.
I guess I am superstitious in terms of Hawaiian superstitions like not taking lava rocks without permission, not taking things from sacred sites, or carrying pork over the Pali. Other stuff like black cats or walking under ladders, not so much.
No, not really. Though I kinda automatically throw salt over my shoulder if I spell any. LOLOL I’ve had black cats. Have now now Ariel. I’ve walked under ladders as long as no ones on it unless I have no other way. Mainly like the others here, safety first.
