I love books in all shapes and forms. I didn’t think about until you asked the questions, but I find most of my pleasure reading is on my smartphone … Comparing tablet, we elders need the bigger print. My ‘serious’ books are paper because I use them a lot for reference.
I love real books (except when travelling) but since I lost major usage in one hand due to an accident, I have found that an e-reader is easier to use because it is so much lighter.
Yes and yes. However as much as I love holding a good book it just isn’t as practical as an ebook. My vision isn’t what it used to be (aging sucks) and with an ebook I can turn the font size up but unless you spend a fortune for an extra-large print version books just don’t have that option.
I don’t have a dedicated ebook reader, I read on my tablet, books, fanfiction, you name it. I use a program on my desktop called Calibre to convert things to epub and organize my library and on my tablet I use Calibre Companion to keep the books synced between the two.
Now if I could only figure out how to get my thousands of books in my library stuffed into my digital library I’d be a happy camper.
I use my Ipad for ebooks. I love that I can keep all my favorites to read as many times as I want and the pages never fall out. I backup to the cloud so I shouldn’t lose any of my books.
I have two eBooks on my Amazon Fire Tablet. I love to read books that I have in my hand and eBooks. I am currently reading an eBook that I also have in paperback.
I actually like both. When I’m home I like to read real paper books (though I’m at that age where I’m starting to squint even with my reading glasses) mostly because I find it easier to find things when I go back to look for something, but I usually use my Nook because I can “carry” more than one book around with me.
With me ebooks are better for travel and accessing when I’m killing time. I do love my physical books but I save them for hurricane season, as if I loose power I can read them and leave my phone in power saver mode.
My primary way of reading is on my phone. But I own a Kindle and use it. But that doesn’t change the fact that I love actual books. There is nothing like holding a book in hand and the sound of the pages turning. Having the books digital has helped with travelling. No more getting pulled out of line by the TSA anymore bc I don’t have a duffel bag full of books. So it varies depending upon venue and space.
I bought a regular Kindle because I didn’t know how I was going to like it. I loved it, so I bought a Kindle Fire. Sometimes, though, I find it distracting and I like to actually read a book. There is a place for everything and it just depends on my mood. I still look for a book in paperback or hardcover even with the Kindle in my purse.

I use the same program, with the amount of ebooks that program is a life saver

I love my tablet – I read on it a lot. But I still buy paperbacks sometimes because you absolutely cannot take a long bath with a good Kindle.
