Blue Bloods, CSIM to get over my writer’s block, and A Nero Wolfe Mystery on DVD.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., NCIS, CSI Miami, and Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix, Blu-ray, DVD.
Blacklist and some shows from England: Foley’s War is one. I have caught up with NCIS – which I don’t like as much with Tony gone. I do, however, love Bull.
Stargaze Atlantis / Lethal Weapon (tv series) / NCIS / NCIS:La, / Hawaii Five-0, (thank you Sky on demand) and Star Trek DS9 / Voyager on DVD! Have a stack of UK shoes to watch – Inspector Morse, Lewis, Touch of Frost, Agatha Christies Marple / Poirot – need suggestions, these aren’t going to last long, almost finished the first lot!!
Poirot is SO GOOD. One of the most faithful book-to-screen adaptations I’ve ever come across. I haven’t seen Marple, but I’ll put it on my list. The Phryne Fisher mysteries are very good, though I wish they’d make more of them. I also really enjoy the Lord Peter Wimsey BBC series, and the A Nero Wolfe Mystery series from A&E. All of these are also book-to-screen adaptations, and good ones.
Ordered Nero Wolfe should be here next week, looks good! Marple is good, but I still like Joan Hickson as Miss Marple. Sister got me Murder Rooms, suppose to be the beginnings of Arthur Conan Doyle love for writing! Liked Miss Fisher and Doctor Blake Mysteries when they were on Alibi but difficult to download or get in demand!
Netflix has Miss Fisher, Poirot, Doctor Blake, and a lot of other British TV.
Sense8 (which I just found out about), NCIS & a couple of Japanese dramas
