I look forward to things slowing down. Slowing down to look at the beautiful foliage … Slowing down walking and driving through the snow. Time to write because no one wants to go out in the cold, blustery weather. Just a general slow down of the energy that has been on the run since Spring.
Pumpkin pie, and decorating for Halloween.
I am looking forward to pumpkin pie, Halloween, Horror movie marathons, Thanksgiving, and spending time with my family. I am also looking forward to watching the leaves change color.
Salted Carmel Mochas are my fall drink of choice but what I am really looking forward to is getting to see my family. I haven’t seen them in a hot minute so it’ll be excited to go home.
Thanksgiving dinner at my cousin’s house – she has three small kids so we come to her. Foodwise, apple cider donuts are my favorite autumn indulgence; there’s a bakery near me that starts making them in October, and I look forward to it every year.
