I saw a meme a couple of weeks ago which I thought summed it up rather well for here in the UK.

last week we suddenly had scorching sunshine with 25°c+ temps and now we are back to pouring rain and max temps of 12°c
Winter was weird here, but Harvey came along and made all the other weather seem unbelievably wonderful! No water in our home, but 4′ – 0″ of rain???? And more in some places. But we are getting in all under control and moving on.
