  1. When I was younger, I loved it. When we were attempting to creep, crawl, telekinetically teleport 80,000 pounds of freight across Interstate highways in butt puckered chewing seat cushions snow storms … I hated it. Today, I appreciate the beauty of it while looking out my window hoping my schedule doesn’t include leaving my warm haven.

Like Paula, I really loved it when I was a kid: snow forts, sledding down Norway Drive, hot chocolate (real cocoa and milk!) that Grandma made go me when I came back into the house…
    Sweet memories.
I learned to drive in snow and ice — I was good at it! It saved me several times from people who couldn’t drive in one inch of snow. We lived in New Bern NC at that time….
Nowadays, my doctors won’t let me drive, so I get to sit and enjoy how beautiful and peaceful it can be. **sigh*
