Fandom that introduced me to the idea of fandom? Star Trek: TOS†
First actual fandom? Highlander: the Series
Fandom that consumed my life? Sylum

†realizing that ST:TOS had been produced and aired while I was still in diapers was _very_ disappointing.

My first fandom ever was Harry Potter. I was a huge Oliver Wood/Marcus Flint fan back in the day and I still like to read those old fics whenever I’m having a rough time. I stayed out of the fandom for the most part and just read fic but it was so much fun. The first fandom I was hugely active in online was probs CSI triad though. I was super self-conscious when I was younger and always over thought everything. My parents used to say they knew I was a Ravenclaw because I was always over thinking and devouring books as a kid.

When I was real small, I was a fan of Batman and Robin, then the Fantastic Four. As a teenager it was Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Beach Boys, Star Trek and The Man from UNCLE.
As an adult it has been Dr. Who, Star Wars, Stargate SG1 and Supernatural.
There have been others, but the above-mentioned were and are the biggies.
Did I ever tell you I live in my head and only crawl out when RL demands? Like 3am feedings, diapers, work and cooking, etc
Ah, well back to RL akaThe Puppy. (Dammit, Butch, drop my flip-flop!!)

Starsky & Hutch tv show. Yeah showing my age. None of the guys in my high school stood a chance. Paul Michael Glaser was THE MAN! Ten years after the show ended I got into fanfic (so bored at then new job) with my first stories about starsky & hutch. Like whoa!!!!!! SLASH!!!!!!! TEARS OF JOY!!!! I FOUND MY PEEPS!!!!!!! It wasn’t just me! Other people saw their chemistry too!!! Next fandom I inhaled…..due South with RayK….. 😀

Before I knew what fandom was? Probably the A-Team… I blame Campbell’s Soup and mail in labels…

Computer-wise probably Highlander (HIGHLA-L listserv anyone) and Forever Knight (FORKNI-L or whatever the letters were).
