Like the Gunny, I like my coffee all year round. For the winter, I make my own instant hot chocolate and spiced tea mixes. Or if I have time, I make hot chocolate from scratch. I’m not much of an alcohol drinker but I enjoy a frozen margarita when I’m having Mexican or jd and coke if I’m clubbing. Summer is whatever is cold.

      1. 8 qt box dry milk, 2 pound box of nestle’s quik, 1 lb of powdered sugar, 16 oz jar of dry creamer. Sift all ingredients until well blended. It’s a lot of sifting. Use 1/3 c for 8oz of hot water. It’s a lot creamier than swiss miss. Store in covered container.

I love a sweet coffee myself. Hot, I make it with hot chocolate and flavored creamer. Since it is so darn hot in SE Michigan right now, McDonald’s Chocolate Chip Frappe is my goto to cool down or when I am driving.

  3. Coffee all year round…preferably made from freshly ground sumatra but as long as it’s decent I’m pretty easy. Although for cold days I love mug of peppermint & liquorice tea or a rich hot chocolate, and for the really hot days; iced coffee if I’m working or a nice Long Island iced tea if I’m able to just chill out.

I drink coffee all year round. Pretty much anyway you hand it to me.

My coworker recently started giving me instant Korean coffee which is very tasty and very strong.

  5. Hmm, I prefer a nice hot peppermint tea as opposed to coffee. I’ll have a cup or two in the morning, but that’s about it. For a cold drink, I love having a nice fruit smoothie or even a milkshake if it isn’t too hot.

If I want alcohol, a bottle of beer is good, or a Vodka mix is fine.

Mocha cappuccino for my coffee (or mocha frappuccino in this heat…Michigan should not be this hot, ugh) and in the fall and winter…Pumpkin Spice tea or hot cocoa…..for alcoholic drinks, a Pirate Float. 🙂

The Pirate Float I had was served in a very large glass (a highball glass, I think) and was 1/4 Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, 1/4 Vanilla Vodka, 1/4 Dekyper’s Rootbeer Schnapps, and 1/4 cream *snicker*…stir and drink. Tastes like a rootbeer float (with alcohol, lol)

    Pirate Float –
1 1/2 oz Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum
1 1/2 oz root beer schnapps
    Coca-Cola®

Mix all ingredients in a glass with ice. Add cola, to taste, and serve on the rocks.

If you ask a question, as a researcher I will answer.
