My summer reading list is mostly college(University) related. This weekend it is all articles dealing with gender differences and familiar and unfamiliar words and how that effects word list recall. I’m having trouble finding articles that deal specifically with the familiar and unfamiliar words independent variable. So, I’m feeling a bit discouraged. And since it is summer none of the university libraries are open as long as they are during fall and spring, hence, trying to get articles that are hard copy is difficult. And then EBSCOhost, the library journal database, keeps not saving the articles I want to use. So, I have to spend even more time trying to go back and find them again.
Monday I’ll be reading “Methods in Behavioral Research: Eleventh Edition” Cozby, Paul C. and Bates, Scott C.
Then I’ll move back into reading Faulkner so I can do a research paper on two of his works. And then I have a two research papers overdue for my apocalyptic fiction class so I’m reading “The Windup Girl” and “The Road.” And if I finish all that and my class in the fall I graduate.
I’d like to find some time to re-read the Anne of Green Gables Series. It should only take a weekend but my summer seems to be filled with article reviews.

  2. My summer reading is True Crime books and fiction. I am right now reading the book Grimm Icy Touch. I find that on any day during the summer there is nothing like reading a good book and have a really good cup of coffee.
