It’s Summer Time here, and kids are out of school – which means Vacation!!

Ahh the memories of two-week road trip with your parents.

Seeing new things. Exploring.  The Adventures.

What was your favorite holiday vacation? Worse vacation?

  1. The best vacation was to Virginia Beach with our then young children. We stayed in a old camper that was less than $5 a day. Every morning ducks would come to our campsite for the kids to feed. We were minutes away from Busch Gardens, which was still under construction and Williamsburg along with Jamestown. Williamsburg is a community set back in pre-revolutionary times, and people walked around the town in costume. The stores had wares that were available at that time and a knowledgeable “store owner” who would explain the items in his shop. The best part for the kids was the maze behind the governor’s mansion, they spent quite a bit of time running through the maze until Wendy decided enough was enough and she led her younger brother out of the maze. She was not quite 6 and had figured out how the maze worked. Another fun time for all was the visit to Jamestown Festival Park. The kids had time with the local “Indians” and then with the “colonists”. The parents had time to walk around and enjoy. It was one of the best vacations I have ever had.

Worst was when I was a yougin” and we visited friends of my parents. Their kids were the worst brats I had ever met. I still cringe when i think of that trip.

My favorite holiday vacation was the one when I visited Denmark with my mother, sister, aunt and two of my cousins.

My worst was the one when we were on a boat holiday when I was small. And I nearly drowned:(
Luckily I was rescued by some teenage boys who were out diving.

  3. Best vacations were the ones I’ve gone on with my sister to Japan since we went wherever we wanted, whenever we wanted, however we wanted.

Worst would be a vacation I went on when I was a kid with my family and my father’s friends and their families. Talk about chaos!

  4. The best vacation that I went on was I went to visit my cousin Jason and spend time with the family. The worst vacation I went on was with my parents and we had a good time but the worst part was when we spent the night in a hotel and we had to share the bed.
