It’s been a book week!
How big is your library? Lots of physical books, have a personal library?
Dude you don’t want to see my Calibre files for all my ebooks?

The bookcase is full so are the storage bins and half the spare bedroom … It’s supposed to be a workout room. Some are antiques (including some in German & Latin, and many Catholic texts) and I dread the day we have to figure out how to fit everything we want to keep in a RV. I guess that why they invented storage units.
At one point I had at least 7-10 thousand books, a lot of them inherited from seversl sides of the extended family. I inherited over 500 cookbooks from my maternal grandmother. I kept twenty of my favorites and gave the rest to a friend who is a professional chef.
I have moved all over the country and had to shed books each time, so, I gave them to local libraries. What they did with them afterwards was their business.
I love the feel and smell of physical books. I just love to read. I may not read as fast as I used to, but I read for the pure love of learning and entertainment.
Plus, you never know what facts you are going to learn in a book or story you read for the pure joy if it! (I’m looking at you, my General!)
