Our original plans for Thanksgiving were canceled. My husband was sick and my inlaws decided they didn’t want ANYONE from our household coming over because of that. So, they dropped off some food later on for us, insisting on no contact when they did it, and my kids were disappointed. I’ve bought some turkey breasts and will be making a small Thanksgiving meal today to try and make up for it.
In the process of relocating to Nevada. We drove 3 hours to Idaho for dinner with new friends.
Sweetie, when did you all decide to move to Nevada??

My granddaughter, Lily, brought over and fixed enough food to feed the proverbial army. Did I ever tell you that young lady is one helluva Great Cook…
She sent half a cheesecake over last Monday with one slice designated for me to eat that night as my birthday (cheese)cake with the rest being Thanksgiving dessert. (Her mom gets two slices) Lily works for Cheesecake Factory.
I view the day as a wonderful time to get the family together. We don’t get to do that as often as I would like. **sigh**
