Keeping with the theme!
Favorite TV Series of the year?
I admit do not watch a lot of TV – I’m more like a Discovery Food Network type of shows.
I can recommend Mysteries of the Abandon – It’s a pretty awesome show.

We’re Discovery, History, & Food Network watchers, too, but we got sucked into Landman, and are looking forward to Season 2.
Plus I was Secretary to a bunch of landmen in Oklahoma and Maryland, so I know the industry.
That’s always fun. Anytime I see something with an Archives/Archivist I’m like okay lets see how bad they screwed it up!
Will have to check the Landman series out!
I have been enjoying the new High Potential on ABC and Irrational on NBC. They are entertaining and interesting. Plus there are a lot of other shows we’ve been watching for years. Most of the time I watch and read or surf at the same time. These two I have to focus on.
I admit I’m so behind on ‘main stream’ shows so will look into those.
I still watch the reruns of Midsomer Murders and of Death in Paradise and, of course, Stargate Atlantis. I’m a big fan of David Hewlett and his you tube live chats. He’s so funny. I like Joe Flanigan too, he’s nice to look at 😀 and he has a nice voice but … he talks a bit monotone, I can stand it for 15 minutes but then….
There are times some of the best actors are the worst narrators. Michael Fassbender did narration for Ferrai and it sucked.
Another High Potential and The Irrational watcher here! Both are very fun to watch. I’ve also started watching the new Matlock on CBS with Kathy Bates. Other than that I used to like watching Animal Planet shows, but not so much lately.
I’m still a fan of 9-1-1 (both does) and I discovered these little pearl called Word of Honour.
staying with NatGeo… To Catch a Smuggler is entertaining in the I can’t believe that and oh, wow… the first six episodes or so are at JFK, MIA, and LAX.
For fiction, i’m going with Elsbeth on CBS she’s quirky and it’s a crime drama. I will also agree that Irrational and High Potential are both very good.
I’ll have to check out the To Catch a Smuggler. Watching the Mysteries of the Abandon there was so much of ‘I had no idea!’
