We seem to have lost the ability to have much of a winter. Used to have great snow storms. We do get cold a week at a time but our lakes take forever to freeze and thaw sooner. I always love the big change in seasons. Still hot and sticky summers, though.
I’m in Tennessee where we just had another polar blast come through. About 2 inches of snow that has already melted mostly off and lows around 0 to 10 and highs in the mid 20s. Today we hit 32°. I expect at least one more storm with snow or ice which is normal here.
I live in Hawaii so it’s been around high 60’s in the evenings & mornings, and in the 80’s during the day.
I sometimes envy those who get to see the 4 seasons, then I see people shoveling snow on the news, and think “Hmmm, I think I’m good here.” lol
I’m in Schleswig-Holstein in the North of Germany, and we had a cold period the last two weeks (under 0°C (32°F) but now it’s upto 12°C (54°F) during the days. And it’s sunny, a bit light rain sometimes and fog early in the morning (when it comes LOL).So like we are used to, changing often and sometimes surprising. I hate the cold as I don’t like wearing thick winter garment.
