  1. I lost my Mom, who was the most important person in my life. I literally would not be the person I am today if it weren;t for her. Not just because she gave birth to me, but also because she chose to keep me, to care for me through a life of illness and with the threat of my not living past the age of 12, she still chose to raise me knowing that I would have a lifetime of illness. For a teenage mother in the 70’s she had a lot going against her, but she stood up and did it all. I will always miss her and my life is darker without her.

My Grandfather, my hero, Sidney Saper, a 92-year-old World War Two veteran who fought in the North African and Italian Campaigns, passed away in his sleep December 13, 2013. May you always be at peace in the arms of G-d.
