  1. Hard Rock is a 7 year old blonde/black Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix hubby rescued from people living outside of Columbia, California. The lady bred ‘pocketbook dogs’ and was going to put him to sleep because he was too big. He’s our ‘alarm’ dog. He weighs 25 pounds but has the attitude of a German Shepard.
Kota is a 5 year old brindle Mountain Cur we drove 600 miles to Dahlonega, Georgia to adopt from the shelter 2 days before she was scheduled to be put to sleep. She was part of animal neglect, painfully shy and scared of loud voices and noises. Today she is the ‘enforcer’ to Rock’s alarm. She rarely barks, but when she does she sounds like a hound that’s treed it’s target.

Well…. My ex son-in-law got out of the hospital and moved in with his mom and aunt. He took Butch with him, so we are now pup-less. Hopefully, I will be able to adopt a young female dog from the shelter soon. I miss Butch, but I am not up to raising a pup. So, I am actively looking for a dog to love.
