Sylum Snippet!

“Where are we going?” Don asked as Hannibal dragged him out of the house.  “It’s my day off, I really really just wanted to not leave the bed.”

“This is a special day!”  He leaned over and gave him a passionate kiss, then dragged him down to the subway.

“Hannibal!”  His Mate was beyond hyper which meant he was likely going to be doing something that he shouldn’t be doing, and Don was either going to be facepalming or laughing to hard to take a photo.

An hour later Don found himself at the New York City Zoo, being dragged to the reptile house.  He gave his Mate a side-eye.  “Am I going to get a bitchy phone call from Paul?”

“Noooo!”  He giggled as he ran off to the lizards.

Hannibal bent down to one of the iguana’s.  “Hi there.  What’s your name?”  He glanced up to see the write up on it, frowning when there wasn’t a name.  “Well how about I call you Mr. Green.”

Don snickered, he sat on one of the benches smiling.  Hannibal had a way of making the world a better place, when you didn’t want to kill him.

After Mr. Green’s photoshoot, Hannibal sat next to his Mate and sent the best pictures to Paul.

“So is it his birthday?”  Don asked snacking on some popcorn he had wandered off to find.

“No.”  He giggled while typing.

“Then what’s the special day?”

“National Reptile Day!”  Hannibal grinned.  “I had to send the Lizard King pictures of his minions on such a special day!”

Don closed his eyes, counted to five – when his phone went off.
