I don’t watch sports and no commercials! Who likes to watch commercials? I think they are a medium for telling you how the world is. I prefer to go out there and look 😀
We have no team in the game so it’s commercial watching for me.
Don’t mind me… I’m just here watching the Six Nations. Even though England didn’t do too well last weekend but just pulled it out of the bag today against Italy. Even though I’m half American I’ve always preferred the rugby. I have to admit I am a little curious about the 90’s/00’s rap revival for thr half time show.
If I watch the Superbowl(rare!) it’s because of a particular player or team I like. This year I’m rooting for
The Bengals because Cincinnati is a hop, skip and jump from Louisville.
I used to like the commercials but they have gotten too political for my taste.
I’m not a sports fan like my Aunt Norma was — she had been a Lady Cardinal and played basketball for UL when she was a student there in the late 40s/early 50s. She loved the Superbowl. Personally, I think it was because she liked to look at the players’ “nice tight butts!” as she so succinctly told my 12 year old Amanda when they were watching a game together. Shocked the hell out of Mandy. But Aunt Norma told her: “I’m old, kiddo, I ain’t dead!!” **G**
