Title: Jacob Frye

Author: Bj Jones

Rating: FRT

Author’s Note: For this Advent I decided to do a series of Character Stories.  Basically I picked a Character from each Clan and did a small story of their life.  This was done to showcase other Characters outside the Main Arcs.  The stories aren’t long, 3-5pgs, and a glimpse into their lives.  Some of these stories will be added into larger fics later on, others will stand on their own.   All these characters can be found in the Sylum Wiki.

Sylum Timeline: After 2006, but open ended at the moment

  1. LMAO. As a retired commercial driver I’ve been in both sets of shoes. When I was a rookie it seemed to take forever to back in a dock. When I was a veteran I threatened to do the same thing when I was waiting to back in my dock and some steering wheel holder was taking all day to back up 10 feet.

Thank you for an interesting story focusing on the Frye twins with mentions of the MacManus boys and Abberline.

I agree with you: Especially during the days when I was told I shouldn’t be taking a man’s job … Even if I could do the ‘man’s’ job better than the man. My mother graduated UCLA in 1942 and became an accountant but should have been an engineer. One daughter is a CPA and the other a mathematician with a granddaughter working as a financial counselor and the other coordinates the inventor program for an environmental company.

The fun with these Character Stories is showing a variety of different characters … And I do love Jake he’s a snarky bastard!

It’s awesome to see how far woman have come … yet so far yet to go.

I like how practical Jake is. This is perfect:“Nice outfit.” Evy stated from her door. She gestured with her hands at his ensemble, rolling her eyes at the coat, boots and boxer shorts.
“Lucky, I had anything on. I could’ve been hangin in the wind and wouldn’t’ve cared.” Jake yawned, dumped his boots and coat, then placed the hat back on the lamp, before climbing back into his bed.

I am looking forward to see what other characters you showcase with glimpses of familiar characters in the background.
