I love how you handled this day and showing a new generation about the historical event. Especially with Steve and his connection to the ‘other’ Danny 😀
Thanks! The idea hit me during the 70th anniversary when I had students asking all of these questions about it and what had happened. I realized then that this generation didn’t really know/hadn’t been taught and that we were losing those that had been involved in it. This was my way of paying tribute I guess. 🙂

Great story. Its sad that the children of today aren’t learning history. I loved the way Steve handled it with Grace.
