Now who are your favorite Hunters… please look beyond Riddick… He’s a badass and yes most stories have been with him. But there are lots of Hunters in the Universe… And Riddick is still baby compared to some of these guys.
I think this is hard to answer because Riddick and Van Helsing are seen in a lot of the (older) stories but the others on the list are just in the wiki or haven’t played a large roll in the written universe (yet).
I mean, if I was going to pick someone from the wiki I’d go with Wilhelm Brandtenschtein. [And maybe Cougar, if you count him as a Hunter.]
Out of the new guys we’ve been introduced to so far, I’m rather fond of Ernesto 🙂
Yes that is part of the problem the main hunters that’s been introduced is Riddick and Van Helsing. Only now getting glimpses of other Hunters like the MacManus’, Jimmy/Noah, Eomer, and the newest Ernesto…
Cougar is Hunter ish but I would say he qualifies.
Also there’s Ezio but few know his works 😀
Just from the movie verse, I am rather partial to Perseus, although I have to say I also adore the MacManus’s

There are a lot of new people that have been introduced or will be introduced that would probably change this list again. I have to agree that of the newer ones introduced I’m kind of partial to Ernesto and Ezio.
Of course I’m thinking I can be a pretty good hunter too – when sober. 😀
I’m thinking like the Top Ten Moments – there might be an adjustment for after Evolution 🙂
And Sparrow sober is pretty damn scary … which the bunny of him, Nick,and Sam Axe hunting the Vampire who killed Aubrey is still hanging around
Yeah. The three of them hunting together would make for an amazing sight. 😀
I’d love to see a showcasing of Hunters from Ghost and the Darkness, especially Dar. Considering how old some of them are they would know Africa pretty well. I’d adore something with Dar, Tyr, Telemechus, and Dylan in it.
The other Hunters I’d love to see would be the Medjai Hunters for almost the exact same reason. Though It would be nice to see how Ardeth and Rick utilize their Hunters. Especially with Raia being a Hunter that I’m assuming comes from Mathayus’ line. That must be difficult and a comfort for Ardeth to see someone so like his vampire brother.
We’ve seen Raia a bit in the lastest Fast/Furious story who’s name is escaping at the moment *grumbles*
In Evolution you’ll see Hunters from Tallikut, Serenity, Border, Sylum and Knight at work…
And as stories built more and more will come out. As we get grips on where everyone is and their histories – you start to see where they come to play in the stories.
That would be Luke Hobbs. 😀 Yeah, we’ll be seeing more of him come the epic Border fic from hell. 😀
There’s some major badasses in Border Clan that just haven’t been seen yet in their full glory. That will be remedied soon enough. 😀
