The Caretaker has always been behind the scenes, takes care of everything that needs to be done. He’s always been loyal to his Sire, and when he left with Lock-Nah to start the new clan, he went along with them, knowing someone had to look after the crazy bunch of morons
Niobe was the daughter of the Shaman. She was considered beautiful and filled with a strong spirit. When Morpheus pursued her for his bride, no one was really shocked. They were shocked that two ruled together. After a while the tribe settled into the new idea, as Niobe was strong and caring, and helped looked over the woman and children of the tribe, as her own family.
Even after being Turned, Niobe has continued her quest to protect woman and children. Though not a Hunter, she is not a woman to mess with.
What better Head of Security in Ghost and Darkness Clan – than an ex Big Game Hunter. Robert Muldoon patrols the wildlife refuge to keep an eye out on the animals, poachers and Rogues. He a rough guy who doesn’t take peoples bullshit. Very loyal to his Mate Dilios and despite the bristly attitude he has to his son, Owen, he cares very deeply for his boy – though he’ll never show it.
And he has no love for Raptors.
Unlike his boy.
Nikolai Orelov is part of the Assassin Order.
He’s trained to be an Assassin, and has worked with a few of the other though stays mostly in Russia area, as he feels they need more help than anyone can provide. He isn’t loyal to Catherine or Marco, but he at least has more respect for Marco. He does what he can to help the people during the Russian Revolution but nothing to help the Romanovs. He likes Anastasia and what she accomplishes in her life, not because of who she was.

Raisa Demidov is the wife of one of Sila’s Hunters – Leo Demidov. She was hesitant at first to marry him, scared what would happen if she said no. But as time goes on, she sees the man behind the one who works for the Government. When all hell breaks loose over a case of missing children, she stands by him. When he’s Turned, and they realize their Mates, the two embrace the Vampire and new life.
It’s a new month so a new set of Inspiration from another Clan. This month it’s сила Kin Clan (Sila – is the English spelling). We’re starting off with the new Clan Advisor for the Clan. To give some history – Catherine isn’t an easy person to deal with, and has gotten herself on the wrong side of Alexander a few times. After the incident with the ‘Red October’ (yes that story is in the works but not far up on the to do list at the moment) she tosses Marko and his new American Mate Ryan out of the Clan. Anastasia pissed as hell leaves and joins Passion Kin Clan, soon after.
Well to make a long story short (too late) … (*if you get the joke you get a cookie from Wadsworth*) after a major incident which I’m not going to mention cause it is in major storyline that is coming – Alexander doesn’t give a rats ass if she thinks she is Mother Russia, re-instates Marko and places Ryan as Clan Advisor. Jack is still not sure if Alexander did him a favor or not.
Some of you are going but wait…that’s not Jack Ryan!
No it’s not.
We couldn’t use Alec Baldwin as we limited his characters down to one – The Shadow.
Harrison Ford didn’t fit the role in the first place, nor the one we needed for Sylum
Ben Affleck was just no.
And I’m not sure what the hell that movie was with Chris Pine but it wasn’t Jack Ryan.
So he was re-casted. Personally I would love to see Chris Pratt play the part I think he would do an awesome job and he fits many of the characteristics of the character from the books.
Finishing up this month’s Inspiration from Ehre/Weisheit Kin Clan is Eisenheim
Eisenheim is Dresden’s son. Neither talk about their lives or what they can do. Both are very gifted and focused on the natural world around them.
Note: You will be seeing more of Eisenheim in some up coming stories. But do warn you – what you think is not what you know.
Despite the fact the Ehre and Weisheit Kin Clans joined after World War Two – the Clans each have individual Caretakers.
Ehre Caretaker: Mary Poppins
She’s sweet, charming, and can rule that castle with a iron fist! She knows everything and no one can get anything past her. She also has a beautiful singing voice and can be heard through out the castle when dealing with day to day operations.
She also can push every single one of Thomas’ buttons.
Keeping with this years Sylum Inspiration: John Preston – Ehre/Weisheit Hunter.
He’s methodical, tenacious, and a deadly Hunter. Add him with his Mate the two can be unstoppable.
John’s personal self control rises from who his father is, and his need to make sure he never looses control. One of the few people he relaxes or lets go – is his Mate.
This years Sylum Inspiration will tie into the Sylum Monthly Calendars.
Since January 2016 Calendar was of Ehre/Weisheit – we’ll be showcasing each week in January a character from that particular Clan.
Updates will either be on Sunday or Monday.

It’s that time of year! Autumn has come even in California…ish.
Fall is a big time for Sylum. There’s crops to be brought in, festivals to prep for, and a time for all to come together.
For the rest of it – its scramble to get stuff done for Advent!!
Is officials up to date. Well up to date as it can be. There’s always going to be edits, additions, and moving things around.
But it’s done. It will be revealed during Advent! So must be patient for a while more! But believe me it will be worth it.

Wanders off to add the 1002 bio ….
Lately the bunnies have been roaming wild about Alexander. A lot to do with the recent discoveries at the Amphipolis Tomb.
Didn’t help that my dad just got back from visiting Turkey/Greece and I swear brought home bunnies. Bob’s now using him for bunny smuggling purposes.
As last night was the Finale of CSI…. No I didn’t watch it – I really had no interest as the show ended for me a long time ago.
But still 15 years!! And since CSI was part of how Sylum started it deserves a nod of thanks and gratitude.
So here’s to Nick & Warrick! Still major Sylum Inspiration after 10 Years.
There are a variety of Pirates through out Sylum and they usually come with their own ship.
Likely the most famous of Pirate Ships is the Black Pearl. Anyone would recognized the black sails and ship coming out of the fog heading straight for them.
Then there’s the Dutchman. No one wants to see this heading in their direction. No one.
Lastly there’s the Jackdaw which will be introduced – when the time is right.
