Today is the last day to sign up for Seven Days of Summer!

I want to put a call out to everyone who reads this blog or follows Sylum!

The main writers of Sylum have a lot on their plates mapping major arcs and stories.  We can’t tackle a majority of characters in other Clans.  From that we would love to see more people get involved!  Draw?  Graphic Design? Videos? Fanmix? Have a cool story idea for one of the 1015 Characters in the Wiki – SIGN UP!

Seriously guys – there’s no excuse not to get involved.

Take up the challenge – sign up for Seven Days.  Browse the wiki, find someone you’re interested in.  Email me (sylumclan@yahoo.com) and we can discuss and plot.

It’s that time of year again!! We’re taking sign ups for this years Seven Days of Summer.  I’m putting out the challenge like I did for Spring Fling.  There are 1015 Characters in the Sylum Wiki Blog – take out the ones you know have major storyline or wrapped into major arcs etc… that still leaves about 815 Characters that have no stories written on them.  These characters are all over fandom, and they spread across history – so its a pretty good guess there are a few of you who could tackle story and/or art for these characters.

The main writers of Sylum have a lot on their plates mapping major arcs and stories.  We can’t tackle a majority of characters in other Clans.   So I’m callin’ y’all out.  Take up the challenge – sign up for Seven Days.  Browse the wiki, find someone you’re interested in.  Email me (sylumclan@yahoo.com) and we can discuss story and plot.

So RL got in the way this week and forgot to put out the last announcement for Spring Fling.  So here it is!  Today is the last day to sign up!! Tomorrow it will be closed!

This is still me doing a call out to everyone who follows Sylum.

We’ve just published the Sylum Wiki Blog that showcases bios for all 1015 characters within the Sylum Universe.  There are 1015 Characters that can be inspiration!  There are 19 Clans with variety of characters that have never been showcased before within the Sylum Universe.

If you can draw, create graphic arts, awesome with vids, or have that playlist that is ‘so this character’ – sign up for Spring Fling!!

Let’s showcase some of these newer unknown characters, give them the 15 minutes of fame they deserve.

Spring Fling has always been slightly different from the other Sylum Events, as it is solely focused on Art, Videos, and Fanmixes.

I’m personally doing a call out to everyone who follows Sylum.

We’ve just published the Sylum Wiki Blog that showcases bios for all 1015 characters within the Sylum Universe.  There are 1015 Characters that can be inspiration!  There are 19 Clans with variety of characters that have never been showcased before within the Sylum Universe.

If you can draw, create graphic arts, awesome with vids, or have that playlist that is ‘so this character’ – sign up for Spring Fling!!

Really? Really?  Is it really that time already!!

Yes it is!

Easter is even earlier this year, which means Spring Fling will start on March 27th!

What is Spring Fling? 

Spring Fling will center on Art, Icons, Videos, and Fanmixs.  There are some amazing artists who follow Sylum and I would like to encourage them to do some art for the Universe.

As we have the Sylum Wiki Blog up and running – I would love to see artwork, fanmixes or anything with new characters showcased.  There’s 1012 bios!! Come on people – let the creative juices flow and go for it.  So I’m calling you all out!  Yes you, those who may have always wanted to participate, but haven’t!! Sign up this year!!!

As of today sign ups are Closed.  If you signed to participate there will be check in, the 1st and 15th of October and November.   All Advent materials are due the 25th of November.  If you can’t make this deadline let me know in advance to arrange schedules.

I have to say Advent is going to be pretty awesome this year with everything that is being planned and worked on!

Sylum 10th Anniversary Q&A: We’ve extended the deadline and will be taking questions up to February 15th.  So you have four more days to ask any question you would like about Sylum, the characters, what goes into creating the universe, questions to the bobs, etc…  If you can’t access the submit form – please just reply to the post.

As Easter is early this year Spring Fling will start April 5th.

What is Spring Fling?
